Our story
A Little Piece of Heaven.
Little Polo Café opened on 9 February 2026 on the Kisumu Hotel Extension strip, across from Maseno University's town campus. Gigi built it for students and staff — a place to sit with a matcha for an hour, not to grab a coffee on the way somewhere else.
Boba took a while to catch on in Kisumu, and Little Polo was one of the first cafés here to keep it on the menu permanently instead of running it as a one-off promo. The loaded breakfast plate and the chicken sandwiches are what regulars order first.
The room seats about a dozen people. You can usually get a table for two without booking. It's built for sitting with a matcha, not for grabbing a coffee on the way somewhere else.
